Spooky Bookish Updates

Good morning!
As we approach Halloween (i.e. my favourite holiday), why not sink your fangs into a dark fantasy? There's no shortage of horror and thrills in A Clockwork Melody, and you're bound to be hooked...
The book is now available almost everywhere books are sold, though comically my name seems to be a difficult bit of data to parse. For those of you who were holding off on purchasing a physical copy due to the price, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the D2D paperbacks are slightly cheaper to purchase and more widely available, listed at $24.99 USD on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more. The bad news is that the Lulu prices for the hardcover and paperback versions are listed as low as I can possibly set them, and even a promotion won't help the cost.

The ebook will remain priced at $6.99 USD; the important thing for me has always been that people who want to read this story have access to it, and that goal is more important to me than earnings. If you are seeking a lower cost and it's more accessible for you to borrow or purchase an ebook, this option will remain at that price point. If you want a physical copy but aren't keen on spending too much, the Amazon paperback is perfectly fine as well. If you really have your heart set on a hardcover, really don't want to support Amazon, or really want to support me as an author... purchasing through Lulu will help me the most, and I dearly appreciate everyone who has done so thus far. <3

In the future, I would love to sell books directly through this website at a reduced price, in addition to a new product I've tested... posters of A Clockwork Melody's cover artwork. One of the things that vexed me about the printing process is that Lulu's copies are quite a bit lighter and less saturated than the original artwork, something the D2D copies are significantly better for. It seems a shame that the original design be compromised, so I'd like to offer these alongside the books for anyone looking to collect the book artwork - I'm very much looking forward to seeing these side-by-side with the sequel book covers!
(I'm also just tremendously pleased with how well this printed... should I sell more artwork on here?)
In the meantime, if you read and loved A Clockwork Melody, please help spread the word and leave a review! You can leave a rating on the website you purchased it through, or you can leave one at Goodreads, Fable, or Storygraph. As an indie author, word of mouth and social media are my primary advertising - every little bit helps!
All my love,
JP
